As SEQA grows we proudly acknowledge past directors, artists, and venues from the following cities.

South Eastern Queer Arts is currently based in the Bayard Rustin Community Center in historic Montgomery, Alabama.

Montgomery is one of the most recognized cities in the Southeast - not only because of it's racial history and role in the struggle for Civil Rights - but also because of the rising tide of LGBTQ representation occurring there.

We ponder. We innovate. We create. We amaze. We're an independent, creative group of LGBTQ artists that seek out fellow artists and venues within our vast society. Our mission is to connect artists to venues to display their art and to encourage venues to support them.

We  network throughout the South Eastern US through social media, local LGBTQ agencies and anywhere there is an opportunity to expand the exposure of LGBTQ art.
